Listen – Community Learning for Social Inclusion aims to promote a dialogue between schools, local communities and families, creating tools to restore synergies lost during the difficult lockdown period and providing safe spaces suitable for building a more diverse and inclusive community.
Specifically, the project has the following goals:
Listen involves schools, NGOs, families and volunteers in 4 countries (Italy, Chezch Republic, Greece and Spain) in order to:
- develop a high-quality early childhood education and care model that promotes an inclusive method and actively involves local communities;
- increase the skill development and professionalization of educators, teachers and school leaders in providing an innovative educational approach for the social inclusion of children with migrant/socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds;
- promote social inclusion initiatives and innovative learning environments using formal and nonformal methodologies to increase dialogue and cooperation among key actors at local, national and community levels.
